Η παραίτηση
Απόψε δεν μπορώ να σε σκεφτώ
και υποσχέσεις απ' το παρελθόν να θυμηθώ.
Απόψε βλέπω μόνο τα συντρίμιά μου
του νου μου τη λιγοθυμιά, σπασμένα τα κοχύλια μου.
Ανάσα από Φθινόπωρο είν' η ζωή μου
σκοτείνιασε νωρίς μες την ψυχή μου.
Απόψε το κενό μου δε βαστώ να το σηκώνω μόνη μου
μα ποιός θα ήθελε το τίποτα να μοιραστεί μαζί μου.
Χάρισα λίγο χρόνο παραπάνω στο απόγευμα
είπα: όρμα στη μέρα μέσα για να μεγαλώσεις
μ' ανάστημα να κερδηθεί τόσο εύκολα και γρήγορα
δε θάτανε αλήθεια, αλλά σκιά κι' οφθαλμαπάτη.
Έτσι δεν έμεινε και άλλο για να προσμετρήσω
δεν έμεινε εχθρός κανείς για ν' αναμετρηθώ
