1)How to Create PSI Balls of Energy
By Kevin Forrester
First and foremost the first thing you need to accept before you can try and create a psi ball of energy is to accept the fact that we are all basically energy beings. All life is sustained by means of the Life Force, which pervades the entire universe, and is evident in all dimensions of life and reality. There are many names for this Life Force but it is still fundamentally the energy from which all things are made and are integral aspects. Once we can accept this we can begin to learn energy control.
To begin with your mind and thoughts must be focused entirely on the task at hand. Put aside all the mundane things of daily life and have confidence that you have the ability to create a PSI Ball. Without this belief you will not succeed and with failure comes the belief that these abilities are beyond your reach.
1. Completely relax. It is important that you are able to achieve a state of complete relaxation as quickly and deeply as possible. It would be very helpful to learn meditation and relaxation exercises to help you get into this state quickly.
2. Close your eyes and imagine a glowing white sphere of white light on the top of your head. Hold the white sphere of light in this position at the top of your head.
3. Now imagine this light beginning to travel down your body; through your neck to your shoulders. As the light gets to your shoulders the light divides in two, half the light travels down your right arm and half the light travels down your left arm.
4. As the light reaches your wrists notice how bright and powerful the light is. Feel the energy and know that it will respond to your every thought.
5. Place your hands about four inches apart and fingers slightly cupped as if you were holding a grapefruit. Imagine the brilliant white balls of light traveling from your wrists to the palms of your hands and then emerge from your palms to form a brilliant white ball of light between your cupped hands.
6. Focus on the ball of light and feel the warm glow of energy coming from the ball of light. Picture the ball of light, as it increasingly gets hotter and hotter. Feel the pulsating power and know beyond all doubt that it will respond to your every wish.
7. Finally, move your hands closer together and feel the energy as it resists you and fights your efforts to compress it. Move your hands apart and notice how the energy releases with your movements.
You have just created your first PSI ball of energy. With practice you can learn to manipulate this energy and know that it is at your will and will react the way you want it too. If you want the light to be more visible, all you have to do is will it to be so. Give thanks to the Universe for the powers that have allowed you to accomplish this and appreciation for the understanding that we are all part of the Universal Life Force. There really is no such thing as separation; it is a construct we must break free of. When you can really understand that, creating a PSI ball of energy is just the tip of the iceberg.
The first step to perfecting any type of energy movements is to learn how to meditate, silence your mind and relax your body. I have been practicing meditation for many years and if you haven't been getting the results you are looking for than I recommend you try the following: Learn To Meditate and Increase Your Energy
2)How to Make a Psi Ball
A psi ball is a ball of psychic energy (psi), the creation of which is used to teach basic energy manipulation and programming. They can be programmed to carry out much, much more complicated tasks.
This exercise is a lot easier if you have a one-on-one teacher, but can be found in many books and other resources on magic and psychic training
Preparation
1. Ground and center. You could start by visualizing your energy extending down into the Earth like the roots of a tree, connecting with its energy. There are other methods. This exercise is intended to balance you.
2. Recognize the flow of psi. Psi is energy and can be sensed, but for now it's enough to know that energy exists within you and flows through your body all the time.
Method One: sourced from Psipog.net
1. Learn to move psi. This is simple once you know how, but it can take a while to get the knack. The psi ball is created by moving psi energy into a desired location in the form of a small sphere. For some, the standard psi ball is a little bigger than a baseball, and smaller than a softball. However, they can be made quite large - to fit around the body in the case of a shield, or even bigger than that.
2. Position your hands. You can use one hand or two, you can hold them vertically or horizontally. Just do what feels right. Make sure you don't get your hands in a position so that it makes you tired and makes you get all shaky because of strain. Some people find it a bit harder to feel the psi if the fingers are touching.
3. Feel the psi flowing. Visualize psi in your solar plexus. The solar plexus is the point where your lower ribs meet in the middle; place your hand on your stomach and your pinky touching the top of your belly button. This is the area you are going to want to use. There are many impressions of what psi looks like, such as water, fire, light... Choose the one that seems right to you. Imagine it in your sternum moving around slowly, and attempt to feel your solar plexus while visualizing this. There is a major chakra located here.
4. Move the psi. Visualize it slowly moving up, going up your chest and over to your shoulders. Try to feel it while doing so. Have it go down to your arms, and to your hands, have it pool there for a little. Bring it back up, and then back to your sternum. Do this a few times, until you start to get the hang of it.
5. Make a shell. Pull psi from your solar plexus. When you get to your hands, instead of letting it pool, have it flow out of your palms and shape into a hollow sphere. This sphere is what you are going to use as a shell.
6. Program the ball and fill it in. This means projecting your intentions into the psiball, to control its behaviour. Basic programming should be to maintain the psi on the inside, and to keep it in one location instead of having if fly every which direction. After you have successfully created a shell, you will want to fill it in; allow the psi to flow into the shell. Your psi ball is ready.
7. Move your psi ball. Move it just like you moved the psi from your solar plexus. This time it won't be in your body, though. This can take practice; you will get better.
8. Experiment with other methods. There are many ways to make psi balls, some people have much better success with doing it a certain way. The principles of it are the same; locate your "energy" source, move the psi, then put the psi into an area and use what "energy" you have to create the psi ball.
9. Experiment with compression. Create the psiball the size of a beach ball, then when you feel you're ready compress it down into a smaller, denser ball. A lot of people seem to have good results with this.
Method Two
1. Gather your energy. This could be from your own body or from another source. You could visualize the energy entering and filling every part of your body from the Earth through your feet, or from the sky and the sun through your crown chakra. Some people imagine energy coming into the body on the in-breath and out through the hands on the out-breath.
2. Hold your hands steady. When you feel like you have enough energy hold out your hands. You can either hold them like you hold a basketball, you can cup them like you are holding a baseball, or you can even hold out one hand. Do whatever feels natural to you.
3. Picture a hole appearing in your hand. Picture a trapdoor cover opening and letting the energy flow out. Imagine a hose in each of your palms slowly emitting psi. It doesn't have to be very fast, or have very much pressure, it just has to naturally flow. Don't let it out of your hands; the next step will help with this.
o At this point you should be able to sense the psi. It could feel like heat, pressure or tingling. When you feel this, move your hands closer together a bit - if there is resistance (even a little) you will know you're sensing it.
4. Focus the flow. Using visualization, compact the psi into a ball in your hand. You can also make it into a cube, or a triangle, or pretty much anything!
5. Program the psi ball. This comes easier to some people than others. Have a very clear intention in your mind. Sometimes it may help to say it in words in your head. The point is make sure your message is very clear.
o Psi balls can be programmed for pretty much anything. A common use is to get someone's attention - program the ball to "poke" someone, to let someone know you want to speak to them. The ball can travel long distances to give the message.
6. Release the psi ball. If you programmed it, then it should carry out its programming as soon as you let go. If you made one just for practise, then it should naturally dissipate.
3)How to Ground and Center
Have you ever heard of someone being referred to as "down to Earth" or "grounded"? Some people seem to have a stability or peace to them that keeps them from getting out of control, or carried away. There are a variety of ways to reach that state, and this is one of them. "Grounding and centering" is a visualization and meditation exercise you can use to focus yourself on the present and learn to feel more whole, more aware. Try it whenever you are stressed, worried, or nervous. The image of a tree evokes feelings of stability and connectedness for many people. This may take some practice, but with diligence you may find that this exercise helps you live in the moment.
1. Sit in a chair with your feet on the ground to begin. Choose a quiet place without disturbances. As you practice this exercise, you can perform it anywhere.
2. Notice your breathing. Clench your stomach, tighten your muscles and breathe up high in your chest. How does that make you feel? People often say, "anxious," "tense," "panicky." Chest breathing is not deep breathing, and it is often an unconscious reaction to stress or trouble.
3. Relax your stomach and let your breath down into your belly. Imagine it flowing down into your toes as your belly expands. Do you start to feel different? Some people find this sort of deep breathing unnatural. To learn it, put your hand on your belly, breathe so that your belly pushes your hand out. Practice regularly, so that it becomes easy and natural.
4.
Close your eyes. Imagine your breath pushing down through the base of your spine, through your feet, like a tree pushing down its roots. Imagine those roots pushing down through the floor and into the soil below. Imagine they can feel something of the quality of the earth, what grows there, and how healthy it is. Push down through the waters under the soil, down through the bedrock, and down into the center. If there's still any tension or fear, let that go through your "roots". For some people, imagining that there is a fire at the center of the Earth and throwing negative feelings into the fire helps to make those feelings dissipate.
5. Imagine you can draw some of that fire up. Feel it as the earth's living creative energy, and bring it up through the rock and the water and the soil. Bring it into your legs and feet, like a tree's roots would draw up water and nutrients.
6. Bring it up your spine and imagine your spine growing like a tree trunk, reaching up to the sky. Bring some fire into your heart, into any place inside you that needs healing or extra energy. As you imagine the growth and energy flowing into you, raise and open your posture and re-focus on your breath.
7.
Branches flow up and back down.
Direct the energy up through your arms and out of your hands, up through your neck and throat and out the top of your head. Visualize branches of energy that reach up to the sky, and let them spread around you and reach back down to touch the earth, creating a protective filter around you. Take a moment, look at that energy web, and notice if there are any places that need to be repaired or strengthened. Send energy in that direction.
8.
Imagine the energy of the sun, shining down on your leaves and branches. Breathe deep; draw that energy in. Breathe it down through your leaves and branches, down through your heart and your belly and your hands. Take it in, feed on it like a tree feeds on sunlight.
9. Open your eyes. Look around you. How do you feel? Relaxed? Revitalized? More attentive?
10.
Imagine your feet have sticky roots. Let them sink into the earth and then release when you start to move. Walk around a little. Feel connected with the ground. Feel the imaginary roots grip and release.
11.
Stretch your arms out to your sides as you move, as far as they'll go, until you can't see your hands if you look straight ahead. Now wiggle your thumbs, and slowly bring your arms in until your thumbs are just visible on the edge of your peripheral vision. Notice how wide your field of vision can be. As you walk, breathing deep, grounded, activate that peripheral vision. Know that you can be aware of what's going on around you.
12.
Come back to stillness. As you breathe, feel where it is in your body this grounded place seems to live, and touch that place. Can you find an image for this grounded state? A word or phrase you can say? When you use these three together—touch, image, and phrase—you create an anchor to help you ground quickly in any situation.
4)How to Open Your Spiritual Chakras
A statue of a spiritual monk, apparently opening his chakras
According to Hindu and/or Buddhist belief, chakras are vast (yet confined) pools of energy in our bodies which govern our psychological qualities. There are seven main chakras in all; four in our upper body, which govern our mental properties, and three in the lower body, which govern our instinctual properties. They are:
1. The root chakra
2. The sacral chakra
3. The navel chakra
4. The heart chakra
5. The throat chakra
6. The third eye chakra
7. The crown chakra.
Ideally, all of the chakras should contribute to a human's wellbeing. Our instincts would join forces with our feelings and thinking. However, this is unfortunately not the case. Some of our chakras are usually not open all the way (meaning, they operate excellently), and some are even over-active. If the chakras are not balanced, peace with the self cannot be achieved.
There are many ways to open your chakras, which are needed in many cases. However, if you are opening your chakras, there is no need to try and make over-active chakras less active. They are simply compensating for the inactivity of closed chakras. Once all of the chakras are opened, the energy evens out, and becomes balanced.
Read on to discover the art of becoming aware of the chakras, as well as a very reliable technique designed to open them.
1. Open the Root Chakra
o Use the body and become aware of it. Do yoga, walk around the block, or do some manual house-cleaning. These activities let your body become known to you, and will strengthen the chakra.
o Ground yourself. This means that you should connect with the ground, and feel it beneath you. To do this, stand up straight and relaxed, put your feet shoulder width apart, and slightly bend your knees. Move your pelvis forward a little, and keep your body balanced, so that your weight is evenly distributed over the soles of your feet. Then sink your weight forward. Stay in this position for several minutes.
o After grounding yourself, sit cross-legged, as shown in the picture above.
o Let the tips of your thumb and index finger touch gently, in a peaceful motion.
o Concentrate on the Root chakra and what it stands for, at the spot in between the genitals and the anus.
o Silently, yet clearly, chant the sound "LAM."
o All this time, let yourself relax, still thinking about the chakra, it's meaning, and how is does or should affect your life.
o Keep doing this until you are completely relaxed. You may have a "clean" feeling.
2. Open the Sacral Chakra.
o
Sit on your knees, with your back straight, but relaxed.
o Lay your hands in your lap, palms ups, on top of each other. Left hand underneath, the palm touching the back fingers of the right hand, and the thumbs touch gently.
o Concentrate on the Sacral Chakra and what it stands for, at the sacral bone (lower back).
o Silently, yet clearly, chant the sound "VAM."
o All this time, let yourself relax, still thinking about the chakra, it's meaning, and how it does or should affect your life.
o Keep doing this until you are completely relaxed. Again, you may have a "clean" feeling.
3. Open the Navel Chakra.
o
Again, sit on your knees, with your back straight, but relaxed.
o Put your hands before your stomach, slightly below your solar plexus. Let the fingers join at the tops, all pointing away from you. Cross the thumbs and straighten the fingers (this is important).
o Concentrate on the Navel Chakra and what it stands for, at the spine, slightly above the navel.
o Silently, yet clearly, chant the sound "RAM."
o All this time, let yourself relax even more, continuing to think about the chakra, it's meaning, and how it does or should affect your life.
o Keep doing this until you are completely relaxed. You should have a "clean" feeling (for every chakra).
4. Open the Heart Chakra.
o Sit cross-legged.
o Let the tips of your index finger and thumb touch on both hands.
o Put your left hand on your left knee and your right hand in front of the lower part of your breastbone.
o Concentrate on the Heart Chakra and what it stands for, at the spine, level with the heart.
o Silently, but clearly, chant the sound "YAM."
o All this time, continue to relax your body, and think of the chakra, it's meaning, and how it does or should affect your life.
o Keep doing this until you are completely relaxed, and the "clean" feeling returns and/or intensifies within your body.
5. Open the Throat Chakra.
o
Once again, sit on your knees.
o Cross your fingers on the inside of your hands, without the thumbs. Let the thumbs touch at the tops, and pull them up a bit.
o Concentrate on the Throat Chakra and what it stands for, at the base of the throat.
o Silently, but clearly, chant the sound "HAM."
o All this time, keep on relaxing your body, thinking of the chakra, it's meaning, and how it does or should affect your life.
o Keep doing this for about five minutes, and the "clean" feeling will intensify once again.
6. Open the Third Eye Chakra.
o Sit cross-legged.
o Put your hands in front of the lower part of the breast. The middle fingers should be straight and touch the tops, pointing away from you. The other fingers are bent and touch at the two upper phalanges. The thumbs point towards you and meet at the tops.
o Concentrate on the Third Eye Chakra and what it stands for, a little above the center of the two eyebrows.
o Silently, but clearly, chant the sound "OM" or "AUM."
o All this time, relaxation of the body should come a bit naturally, and continue to think of the chakra, it's meaning, and how it does or should affect your life.
o Keep doing this until the same "clean" feeling seems to come back or intensify.
7. Open the Crown Chakra.
o
Sit cross-legged.
o Lay your hand before your stomach. Let the little fingers point up and away from you, touching at their tops, and cross the rest of the fingers with the left thumb underneath the right.
o Concentrate on the Crown Chakra and what it stands for, at the very top of your head.
o Silently, but clearly, chant the sound "NG" (yes, this chant is as hard as it looks).
o All this time, your body should now be totally relaxed, and your mind should be at peace. However, do not stop concentrating on the Crown Chakra.
o This meditation is the longest, and should take no less than ten minutes.
o WARNING: don't use this meditation for the Crown Chakra if your Root Chakra is not strong or open. Before dealing with this last chakra, you need a strong "foundation" first, which the Root exercises will present to you.
The chakras and what they are for
• The ROOT Chakra (red): This chakra is based on being physically aware and feeling comfortable in many situations. If opened, you should feel well-balanced and sensible, stable and secure. You don't distrust people around you for no reason. You feel present in what is happening right now, and very connected to your physical body. If it's under-active: you tend to be fearful or nervous, and easily feel unwelcome. If it's over-active: you may be materialistic and greedy. You feel as if you should be secure and are unwelcome to a change.
• The SACRAL Chakra (orange): This chakra deals with feeling and sexuality. If open, feeling are released with liberty, and are expressed without you being over-emotional. You would be open to affinity and can be passionate as well as outgoing. You also have no problems based on sexuality. If it's under-active: you tend to be unemotional or impassive, and are not very open to anybody. If it's over-active: you tend to be sensitive and emotional all the time. You may also be very sexual.
• The NAVEL Chakra (yellow): This chakra encircles confidence, especially when in a group. When open, you should feel in control and have good feeling of dignity in yourself. If it's under-active: you tend to be passive and indescisive. You could be frequently apprehensive and this doesn't reward you. If it's over-active: you tend to be imperious and aggressive.
• The HEART Chakra (green): This chakra is (you guessed it!) all about love, caring, and endearment. When open, you seem to be compassionate and friendly, always working in amicable relationships. If it's under-active: you tend to be cold and unfriendly. If it's over-active: you tend to be so "loving" towards people that you suffocate them, and you could be seen as selfish for it.
• The THROAT Chakra (light blue): This chakra is based on self-expression and communication. When the chakra is open, expressing yourself is easy, and art seems to be a great way to do this. If it's under-active: you tend not to speak too much, so you are classified as shy. If you lie often, this chakra can be blocked. If it's over-active: you tend to speak so much, it annoys a lot of people. You could also be a pretty bad listener.
• The THIRD EYE Chakra (blue): Like it's name, this chakra deals with insight. When open, you have excellent clairvoyance, and tend to dream a lot. If it's under-active: you tend to look up to other people to think for you. Relying on beliefs too often, you also tend to be confused most of the time. If it's over-active: you tend to live in a world imagination all day long. In the extremes, you could suffer from frequent daydreams or even hallucinations.
• The CROWN Chakra (pink): This is the seventh and most spiritual chakra. It encircles a being's wisdom and being one with the universe. When this chakra is open, prejudice disappears from your To Do list, and you seem to become more aware of the world and it's connection to yourself. If it's under-active: you tend to not be very spiritual, and may be quite rigid in your thoughts. If it's over-active: you tend to intellectualise things all the time. Spirituality seems to come first in your mind, and if you are really over-active, you may even ignore your bodily needs (food, water, shelter).
